SPSS datasets

Your computer must have SPSS v10,11 or 12 pre-loaded in order for this to work and open but you can leave the programme minimised and in the systems tray. Click on the example number to go directly to that data set. You will note that often in the text the hyperlink is given at the end of an exercise; this is to encourage you to enter data manually at first to gain confidence in using the programme.

For home use, you can purchase a CD copy of SPSS v12 from the Library helpdesk for £5 ( correct @ Jan 2005).

SPSS datasets may take some time to load.
