The MU Chamber Musicians Television Agreement

This agreement caters for the engagement of chamber musicians by the day, for live transmission or recording: either for 10 hours’ work over 12 on a single day, or, where

the performance takes place before 1.00 pm, to start at 9.00 am that day, and to include up to 4 hours aggregate work the previous day.

The fee payable for an engagement of this kind covers broadcast or recording and rehearsal during the hours defined by the engagement, and rehearsal and performance may alternate. It also covers voluntary rehearsal before the event.

The agreement allows for reduced fees for programmes transmitted in one region only.
