Introduction

How do you find a good idea? There is no set answer to this question and here we explore the different ways of generating ideas and concepts. We also look at the role the process of elimination plays in narrowing down possible ideas to find the one that will work.

The next stage after identifying what you think is a good idea is to develop it and bring it to life. Everybody works differently and this section explores various methods of idea development and visualisation.

Planning is crucial to the success of a project and the information in this section will help you to understand why it is important to maintain good communication not only with your team, but with your client throughout the production process. This section outlines why it is important to plan accurately and how to maintain a good working environment.

Finally in this section we look at the importance of testing an idea or concept and methods that can be employed to do this.
