Every project has an audience of some description, whether a viewer, a user or a consumer. If they are not accurately identified in the brief and targeted correctly the project will be unsuccessful.

This section determines how to identify a specific audience, methods of research that can be employed to research who will be watching, using or consuming your product and how this research can be applied and interpreted to the best effect.
